This is a Japanese Blu-ray Box encode. Since the BDs do not include the bonus features, those segments are encoded from DVDs.

The BD source is 480i. While the quality is slightly better than the DVD, it remains a product of the chaotic digital production era between 2000 and 2007. After complex multi-stage processing, I have attempted to eliminate interlacing and aliasing as much as possible, though some minor artifacts inevitably remain.
