"Crystal New Age Stories" is a 1991 album by Canadian composer Robert Haig Coxon, featuring 13 tracks that blend electronic and acoustic elements to create serene, nature-inspired soundscapes. The album includes compositions such as "Sunny Holiday," "Sparkling Diamonds," and "Inner Garden," the latter featuring guitarist Michael Laucke. Originally released by Intermède Communications in Canada, it was reissued in the United States in 1993 under the title "Crystal New Age" by Metacom. ********** LINER NOTES: Robert Haig Coxon, Jr., is noted as a pioneer in the field of New Age Music. Graduating from McGill University with a bachelor of music, he performed extensively as a multi-keyboardist, while arranging and writing music for film and theater. Christal Silence I, his first of a series of three albums, has maintained the number one position for over four years on the Quebec New Age music charts, unique for a Canadian artist and now considered a classic in its genre. Paul Toutant of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation wrote "Robert Coxon has nothing to envy in Vangelis." His music offers a limitless playground to the imagination with serene modulations and delicate colorings producing a vast array of mental images.
