This is the CD reissue of the album recorded live in 1977 by Rita Lee and Gilberto Gil, two extremely successful pop artists, each one with his/her own definite line of work. And here they followed Lee's style, as she wouldn't be able to convincingly follow Gil's. Therefore, they cover in electric renditions a number of hits, like "É Proibido Fumar," "Odara," "Back in Bahia," "Ovelha Negra," and others, in dance, rock, rock ballad, and pop-forró styles, including a version of "Get Bback" (Lennon/Mccartney). The good baião/electric rock rendition for the hit "Domingo No Parque" deserves mention. The album is devised for a pop/dance audience. ~ Alvaro Neder, All Music Guide
