The 1000 Module was a progressive Rio group, formed in 1969, which had a short duration. The quartet followed a heavy line with clear Black Sabbath influences and psychedelic touches to Pink Floyd. The 1000 Module had in its curriculum the participation in the V International Festival of the Song and the launching of a single album in 1972, that today is a valuable item for the dealers of rare LPs. In the 1990s, a record collector from Rio de Janeiro purchased the rights to the Módulo 1000 with Top Tape and turned the LP into a CD with a limited number of copies
