The title presents the struggle of four nations, in which both mythical creatures and ancient gods participate. The new version of the RTS has received a modernized audiovisual setting and interface, as well as a number of improvements designed for veterans of the series and new players. Age of Mythology: Retold is a real-time strategy in which the gameplay is based on managing units (civilians and the army), collecting resources and constructing buildings. It is also necessary to conduct research on new technologies and train the army. Apart from the economic or military layers, the pantheon of gods, different for each nation, plays a key role in the game (we can choose from Greek, Egyptian, Nordic and Atlantean civilizations). By choosing a specific religion, we gain access to useful offensive spells (e.g. earthquakes, lightning strikes, summoning the dragon Nidhögg) or supporting spells (including summoning rains to fertilize the soil and the help of dryads). We can also add mythical units to the army (Cyclops, Pegasus, Medusa or Cerberus), as well as minor deities whose skills can determine the fate of many battles. The remake offers an extensive campaign consisting of fifty missions. In the course of the story, we travel through subsequent ancient lands, taking part in the siege of Troy, fighting in the wastelands of Midgard and following the secrets of Egypt. In addition to the campaign and single-player challenges, the title also allows for multiplayer play. Age of Mythology: Retold offers an online mode for up to twelve people, as well as the Arena of Gods - a series of trials in which we can participate in cooperation with other fans. The replayability of the scenarios is ensured by procedurally generated maps, and thanks to the built-in editor, we can create new places to fight wars ourselves. ..::TECH-DATA::..
