Metal Dogs is an action-RPG game produced and published by 24Frame studio. The title was released on PC, where it was initially available in the Early Access program, and later also available on PS4 and Switch. It was a spin-off of the Metal Max series, known primarily in Japan. Metal Dogs is not a jRPG like Metal Max, but an action-RPG like the Diablo series. During the game, we play the role of a dog (of three breeds to choose from) traversing the post-apocalyptic wasteland with large guns tied to its back (and not only that). The game has a quest structure, allowing us to complete various tasks, which usually involve following simple guidelines, e.g. eliminating specific opponents (there are also optional guidelines that set the bar higher). There is no open world here, depending on the quest we are moved to a specific dungeon (rooms in dungeons are procedurally generated). The combat system is arcade. Our hero has various types of weapons at his disposal - at first it is a rusty machine gun, but over time better guns appear. There are three slots for weapons, so we can choose weapons that suit our playing style. During expeditions to dungeons, we encounter more or less dangerous opponents. Those marked as "Wanted" deserve special attention, for defeating them we receive special rewards. ..::TECH-DATA::..
