Hydroneer is a sandbox simulator game in which the action is observed from a first-person perspective. This title - produced and published by the independent studio Foulball Hangover - received second place in the "India of the Year Award 2020" organized by Indie DB. Hydroneer is a sandbox game focusing on exploration and resource extraction. Each of the available areas has its advantages and disadvantages, so the player must decide which area is best for establishing a new, unique base. At the very beginning, the hero has the simplest tools at his disposal, such as a shovel or a bucket. As the game progresses, however, he begins to improve his workplace, over time introducing special machines useful both for digging and moving objects. By creating pipe systems, the player can control the water pressure that powers the mentioned machines. The game also allows him to create extensive underground structures and tunnel systems that facilitate access to deposits of metals and precious stones. The collected raw materials are suitable for creating metal bars, weapons and jewelry. Various relics of the past are also hidden underground.
