30XX is an action platform game enriched with elements borrowed from the roguelike genre. The production is the result of cooperation between the independent studio Batterystaple Games and Kowloon Nights, and is the second installment of the series initiated by the warmly received 20XX.
The action of 30XX takes place a thousand years after the events presented in the first part of the series. The famous characters, Nina and Ace, wake up from a coma and quickly notice that the world around them has changed beyond recognition, becoming nothing more than a prison. The protagonists must spring into action again and overthrow the sinister Guardians.
