Mayor Mission Slaughter believes that his re-election victory over Loyalty Chen gives him the mandate to end IRCSIC 1’s democracy and become a dictator. Loyalty’s daughter, Hope, is asked to deliver secret messages between their family and the O’Briens, another prominent family in the pro-democracy resistance. This would require Hope to pretend that she is dating Heed O’Brien, who happens to be the hottest boy at her high school. Hope selflessly accepts this covert assignment.
