the Contao root folder is reachable over:

SSH - ssh://ubuntu@__VirtualMachineIpAddress__/var/www/contao
FTP - ftp://ubuntu@__VirtualMachineIpAddress__/var/www/contao
SMB - smb://ubuntu@__VirtualMachineIpAddress__

if you want to install extension for Contao

If you want to use Contao in your group/LAN, change the network mode to "Bridge Mode" here:

If you have done this, you need to connect all services over localhost and the ports you chose in the VirtualBox config.
