Notes:
We have performed a complete comprehensive color-correction for the entire series, including shot-by-shot white balancing of every single episode, global hue shifts, skin tone fixes, de-bleaching, and various other fixes. Please see this document for detailed information on our color-correction process. (Night Mode Version).
Video contains all previously done fixes to the Dragon Box video include IVTC, decimation, PAR correction, chromatic aberration reduction, chroma noise reduction, chroma placement adjustment, and blocking treatment/grain retention. You can read more about what this means in the merge PDF.
Due to the presence of new color-corrected detail, the average bitrate of each episode was increased. This was deemed acceptable as we are treating this like a “master” release. Others are welcome to re-encode the video as they wish so long as they give credit.
Episode 291 contains the GT Preview.

Notes:
Japanese Broadcast Audio is sourced from Team-Mirolo’s v7 release. Episode 2’s cassette audio and episodes 91-93 are sourced from updated recordings provided directly from Kei17 in 2025.
Both Remastered FUNi dubs are retained as-is from our previous release. Episode 36 was patched to remove a line error and episode 98 was replaced with the Orange Brick track due to it being in dual mono on the official release.
The Saban/Ocean Dub is a heavily edited dub of the first 67 (edited down to 53) episodes of the series. The entire track has been updated with the FUNi/Johnson track to fill any edited gaps. While great care was taken to create seamless transitions, the very nature of the edits sometimes makes this difficult.
The Original FUNi Dub track has been completely re-done and uses elements from the singles DVDs as well as occasional TV and VHS recordings to present the original version of the dub as it existed before the 2007 partial redub. This dub actually begins in the middle of episode 67 resulting in a split Ocean/OG Dub track for that episode. Most episodes have NEPs pulled from TV airings, along with narration for episodes 67-69 and 172-194 with original narrator Dale Kelly. Extended versions of the Faulconer OPs and EDs are used.

OP credits timed and stylized by dubudavid. ED lyrics timed and styled by Johnster. ED credits timed and styled by Ploffy. All titles originally styled by corre. Names and romanization contributions from AnimeAjay, dubudavid, Ploffy, WPR, TheMrDoggo, Herms, and SaiyaJedi. Titles and credits re-colored by butler. Additional subtitle support provided by ZeBenko, HRSM, and KK.
Notes:
Extensive work was done on the stylized subtitles, including:
fully retimed all lines, fixed flashing/bleeding/high-CPS lines, and timed overlapping lines independently
Translated over 300 missing lines + some signs, fixed TL errors, and edited high-CPS lines
Revised the dragons’ archaic dialogue
Typeset the new signs and improved some existing signs
Fixed errors with italics, punctuation, TL consistency, and other things
Removed clunky honorifics (wife-san, pet-chan)
Removed unnecessary ellipses from split lines
Adjusted line breaks
Standardized stutters (Wh-What), interrobangs (?!), and exclamation marks (!)
If you don’t care for stylized subs, then we have included a basic subs track as well. All of the above updates were ported over to these subs.
The signs/songs track is meant for use with the 5.1 English dub and contains NEP translations.
Dubtitles are designed to go with the remastered dub with replacement score, although they should mostly work for both FUNi dubs although line variations will happen.
Japanese subs have been included as synced by butler.
ED credits are included with each episode individually timed and styled by Ploffy.
Extras
Most extras were ported over from our previous release. Note that NONE of the extras are color-corrected. See the changelog above for specific details.

1. Wen Z
NOW.
2. Why no upscale and how do I watch
Use our MPV build here: (PC) (Mac). Since upscaling technology is ever-changing, we feel it would be a disservice to release anything beyond the original resolution at this time.
3. How can we thank you? Do you take donations?
We would never charge for our releases. If you want to donate, please consider donating to JySzE’s Ko-fi account. Without him, none of this would be possible.
