This is the Russian remake of Sidney Lumets directed "12 Angry Men" (USA 1957)
People seem ignorant of the fact that many Russians are in fact Swedish or even Germanic
and eastern European mix, with a vibrant Jewish community along the way, all of
which plays into an interesting and lively discussion amongst a panel of jury members
with articulation and desires for honesty way beyond what you might see in many if not most
"western taverns" and the like, certainly in Canada for one where any talk aside from the
latest DEI festival or hockey game or approved parades is taboo. Go figure if you think thats a
life worth promoting to the extent of sending bombs to shit disturb elsewhere on the planet
where folks far off better with their own values and sense of cohesion as a valid community of sorts eh!
This remake about a young chechyan who by all accounts had murdered his step father
(A retired Russian Army Officer) in order to grab his pension. Although all seem to have
him convicted in their minds based on the evidence heard over three days, one fella
decides to hold out and have a recount of the votes becoming an abstainer of sorts
saying the fella if convicted would see life imprisonment, and this juror just cant see
how he could be with the guilty vote jurors therefore rather than prolonging discussion
in hopes of s filibuster or negative verdict instead (not guilty instead that is)
Thanks for seeding
