Don't we all have to just love Jimmy Stewart for his defence of human idealism idealism as he confronts the
demon in the room in the greatest Hitchcock movie of all time - Rope (1948)
This movie today is another of the most popular of the Hitchcock movies with lovely dear Ms. Kim Novak.
I don't think Stewart means to be as mean seeming in his spirit (but he is nonetheless seeming I have
to say) to her at the end (or Matt Damon towards Nicole too perhaps in "The Bourne Supremacy" -
one of the best series (Bourne Trilogy) out of Hollywood in decades.
